While I consider myself much more of a music listener than a music performer - ultimately I'm just a rabid fan that plays music on the side - I really don't play many songs by other people. Writing and singing my own stuff fulfills me. I know what people say - "You've got to play what people want to hear, what people know." Well, screw that.
