Not Just Yet

I'm not going home now just yet
No I'm not going home now just yet
I promised myself I wouldn't leave with any regrets

Won't you pick my shirt up off the floor
Off that cold November hardwood floor
You can hang it on the back of your chair or else your door(knob)

Come a little closer, let me in
And I'll show you how it all begins
   Begin again

Kick my old necktie right off the bed
It's never ever gonna go back around my neck
You can use it to hang your plants from instead

Show me some more skin ys indeed
A little more skin is surely what I need
Ah honey you slay me, you make me bleed

Fetch a glass of water if you please
Cold cold water if you please
Cause I'm the one that's waiting
Lying here patiently
Stricken with some rotten disease
(That some call love)

Come a little closer, let me in
And I'll show you how it all begins
   Begin again

I'm not gonna leave here just yet
No I'm not gonna leave this town just yet
See it's raining outside and things are getting kind of wet

I'm not going home now just yet
No I'm not going home now just yet
I promised myself I wouldn't leave with any regrets
