Roundabout

It's a long way in, it's a long way out
You dive in deep then do the roundabout

Remember the time that the lights went out
We lit all the candles and we sat around
Strumming guitar
Singing songs
Having us a real good time until the electricity came back on

Like that time you let the dog get out
And how you cried as we hung them flyer all about
Two weeks later
Well he found his way back home
You hugged him and you loved him and I scrubbed him
And gave him a bone

It's a long way in, it's a long way out
You dive in deep then do the roundabout

Remember the time that the power went out
We lit all them candles and we sat around drinking
Singing songs
Guitar and mandolin
Hey, remember when

Now I've got a little theory I'm gonna tell you about
It might sound crazy but I'm gonna tell you anyway
See it's a long way in, it's a long way out
You keep driving north but you're still deep in the south
5 hours in means more than 5 to get back out
  And that's why
  That's why
That's why no good bands tour down in Florida
